Was in town for an event and decided to try something off the wall local for this trip. Crawdad's is definitely a hole-in-wall kind of place, with cheap New Orleans style Mardi Gras décor but because of its uniqueness it has a LOT of character, especially some of the patrons that came in while we were there. Decided to order the Blues Brother Burger (a black angus burger topped with green peppers, onions, crumbled blue cheese, and crispy fried onions) and became a fan with the first bite. The waiter didn't ask how I wanted it cooked but came out medium well, even though it had a ton a flavor which I had gotten it a little more rare. The place was clean with a great friendly staff and the visit was well worth the long trip over from far side of Panama City Beach, but would I go again .. probably.

Best fried pickles in 15 states! And the seafood gumbo and jumbayla is pretty darn good too. A must stop and eat till your stuffed place.

Ugh, so to put this into more than a few words I will start with the decor. Walmart Mardi Gras infused with hole in the wall spitting out seafood. My Togo order was pretty darn expensive for the portions. Thats the risk with seafood in Lynn Haven. I ordered the larger portion so I expected more than the almost cup I got. Fries were a bit over done. Tasted decent with the house seasoning. The cole slaw was par. Nothing sticking to me to make the trip back down to this spot.

This place was a joke. Out of the things that I ordered, they were out of boudin balls. They wanted to give me the meat for my salad and have me go to the salad bar and make my own salad. I finally ordered the meat pie where it came out as a glob and the bottom was completely charred black. I sent it back and never got a sorry or offer to make something better or right. Save your money and go to bayou on the beach or dees, that place is a complete bust.

Oh my goodness! I have been waiting to find the time to come to this place and the wait was so worth it! Everything under the sun my taste buds wanted and more! I could have easily ordered the entire menu! Great food and great prices! Clean facilities and the service was so friendly. Skip the chains folks and come here you will not be disappointed in anyway shape or form! Must go back!

Service was friendly. Fried Crawfish was awesome. Hush puppies and fries were a bit overdone. Red beans and rice, slaw, house crawfish dipping sauce were all amazing. Definitely a must visit, hole in the wall, friendly kind of place.

We ate here today for a late lunch/early dinner. For appetizers we had Zydeco Bread and the Fromage Fried Cheese which were both great and were a good sized portion I had the Crawfish and Gator Po Boy with fries; this is a very authentic tasting sandwich wit the right bread and perfectly fried gator and crawfish My wife had the Build Your Own Omelet with just about everything in it and it came with a side of cheese grits, and 2 pieces of French bread. The omelet was fluffy and overflowing with toppings For dessert I had the Key Lime Pie which was wonderful and my wife had the Bread Pudding which was very good and she even shared it with me and I agreed with her that it was excellent There were a few missteps by the waitress but I think she was new and she did try. Do give Crawdads a try too if you like home cooked Cajun food.

The food is very authentic in taste and style. The service was also good. We had the fried frog legs, they were perfect, and Gumbo while very flavorful, sadly came out barely warm. BUT! If you like oyster stew, it is the best I have had in long time. 2 drinks, 1 appetizer, 1 bowl gumbo, 1 bowl oyster stew. $30.84

I ordered a shrimp Po boy which was pretty good. The shrimps were nice size however it could've used a little more for the price. I also ordered some red beans and rice and seafood gumbo just to try it out. Not good!!! The craftsmanship of the dishes was a miss. The gumbo looked like cabbage soup. The red beans were bland and lack that thick consistency that red beans and rice is known for.

We ordered the crab bisque, oyster po boy, kids shrimp & kids chicken tenders. Everything was hot & fresh! We'll be coming back for crawfish!

Really good crawfish creole, the meat pie is a must but maybe the jambalaya on the side so it stays crispy. Outstanding potato salad! Wonderful key lime pie for dessert! Can't wait to come back!
